PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Zory Library is a very dynamic place in the city. We recognize and fulfil educational and cultural needs of the local community. Our readers use not only books or magazines, but also take part in a self-development and self-realization processes, through all forms of activities the library offers them. The aim of the project is encouraging initiative, creativity and active participation of youth in cultural life, as well as development of our library. The project enables and encourages young people to play an active role in local communities, and helps develop solidarity, tolerance and responsibility, promotes European diversity in an attractive manner, and teaches respect for it, permitting young people from different societies to carry out common actions, creating broad possibilities of intercultural learning. We act on many fields connected with culture and education. Our volunteers lead their own workshops, especially for children and youth, but also for adults, or in marketing.

ACCOMMODATION, FOOD AND TRANSPORT ARRANGEMENTS
We offer: - work in a dynamic and modern cultural institution in an international team, - 35 hour work week (in the afternoon and evening), - our support, - accommodation in a good equipped, modern and comfortable apartment in the city center (large living room, 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, TV and access to the internet; PICTURES (contact link), - money for food, - pocket money, - free public transport in our city. Travel costs - according to the grant given by ESC for the travel from the sending to the hosting country

TRAINING DURING THE PROJECT
- Internal training in the library (work and safety regulations) - ON ARR in Warsaw, - MID TERM in Toruń, - Polish lessons, - Possibility to participate in all trainings and workshops conducted in our library.

VOLUNTEER PROFILE
We expect strong motivated to work, active and creative volunteers having interesting hobbies, talented in the field of art, music, dance, photography, movie-making, handicraft (including sewing machine), DIY etc. We also welcome people with IT skills such as programming, 3d modeling, VR, robotics, film editing etc. They will lead their own workshops, especially for children and youth, but also for adults. If somebody has marketing or graphic designer skills can cooperate with our marketing team. Our volunteers should use English on a communicative level to avoid communication problems.
