PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The project will take place in Museum of Klodzko Land (Muzeum Ziemi Klodzkiej) in Klodzo/Poland. Museum has 5 Departments: historical records, history, art, educational department and the educational library. The area is very attractive for tourists, in many respects, especially geographical. It's historical, ethnic, political and cultural events make the region an extremely interesting field of research and collection of exhibits. The volunteer will have the opportunity to participate in many important events related to the cultural life of the town and the region, such as: vernissages, scientific meetings, concerts, outdoor events. The volunteer will participate in educational activities conducted by Museum for different age groups, so that they will be acquainted with the nature of the work of the museum’s guide and will gain the experience in preparing museum exhibitions. The activities depend on the season.

ACCOMMODATION, FOOD AND TRANSPORT ARRANGEMENTS
The volunteer will live in the volunteers’ house on the country side. It takes around 50 min by bus to get to Klodzko, where the Museum of Klodzko Land is located. The accommodation will be in double rooms with shared bathrooms on each floor and a large equipped kitchen. There are washing facilities at the house and free wireless internet throughout. The volunteer will receive monthly allowance for food in the beginning of each month. Outside the house there are a small basketball and football court. Any transport connected with the project will be covered by the receiving organization.

TRAINING DURING THE PROJECT
The volunteer will participate in an orientation training during the first week of the project organized by Europejskie Forum Mlodziezy (EFM). The volunteer will be also participaiting in the training orgnized by Polish National Agency of Erasmus+ Programme. Extra trainings will depend on the volunteer’s personal ideas and needs. If he or she needs special support to realize an idea within the project, it will be attempted to provide this training/support. General support is assured through the mentor and EFM staff.

VOLUNTEER PROFILE
We are searching for young people between 18-30 years old. The candidate for a place as a volunteer in the activities designed should be willing to integrate and socialize into a new culture and to show an open-minded behavior. He/she will have to be ready to learn how to cooperate and work in an international group. The applicant has to be enthusiastic about working with people that find themselves in a difficult situation and also should be flexible and willing to be innovative and to implement their own ideas. Specific qualities and skills are not required for the candidate to be selected.
