Every year, on the basis of research potential towards sustainable development, highly talented international candidates get hosted by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research. And also this year, Green Talents Competition in Germany 2021 is welcoming you from different scientific disciplines. If you have innovative ideas and want to be a promising scientist, then this opportunity is for you.
This competition awards the candidate who is a young researcher and making endless efforts for the betterment of his or her community and country. With the collaboration of German experts, all participants will be able to contribute towards sustainable developmental goals.
The theme of the Green Talents Competition in Germany 2021 is Sustainable developmental goals. All willing candidates must mention in their application that in which SDG goal, they will be contributing through their research.
All candidates should apply individually not as a team. This program would assess your potential and motivation as an individual. Students, who are enrolled in either master’s or doctoral degree programs will be eligible to apply. The prize of this scholarship consists of two parts, the 1st part includes an invitation to a virtual two-week science forum, and the other part consists of a fully-funded stay in Germany in your choice of the institute for conducting research.

- A participant can choose the host institute of his or her choice across Germany.
- Master’s Degree Level
- Doctorate Degree Level
- 6 to 12 weeks
The prize of this scholarship consists of two parts;
- The 1st part includes an invitation for a virtual two-week science forum in which the participant will be exploring international meetings, renowned research facilities, workshops, science sessions, and excellent research structure.
- The other part consists of a fully-funded stay in Germany in your choice of institute for conducting research.
- The research stay will be fully financed by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research BMBF.
- All international students are eligible to apply for Green Talents Competition in Germany 2021.
- A candidate must be either enrolled in a master’s or doctoral degree program or a degree that should not have completed more than 3 years ago.
- A candidate should be willing to conduct research related to sustainable developmental goals.
- A candidate must have a maximum of 3 years of work experience after degree completion.
- A candidate will be prioritized on the basis of academic excellence.
- A candidate must be good at the English language.
- Residents of Germany are not eligible to apply.
- All interested candidates must read the eligibility criteria before filling the Green Talents Application 2021.
- A candidate should create an account on the official website and submit an application online.
- Applications or documents that will be sent via email, would not be accepted.
All interested candidates should apply no later than May 19, 2021.
