Summary:
The work schedule for this position is:
- Full Time (44 hours per week)
Start date: Candidate must be able to begin working within a reasonable period of time (4-6 weeks) of receipt of agency authorization and/or clearances/certifications or their candidacy may end.

Duties
Basic Function of the Position: Incumbent plans, develops, organizes and conducts all required training for the 201 members of the LGF. They must train members of the LGF on reporting procedures, proper use of equipment, defensive tactics, driving, and other various security operations. Directly reports to the LGF Commander. Works with the Assistant LGF Commander (A/LGFC) and LGF Admin Clerk on administrative tasks, such as creating duty schedules, managing annual and sick leave coverage, maintaining inventory records, and monitoring Guard Electronic Monitoring System (GEMS), etc. Also, assists the LGF Commander and A/LGFC with supervising all LGF personnel. In the absence of the A/LGFC, incumbent will assume the responsibilities of the A/LGF and assist the LGF Commander in the daily supervision of 24/7 LGF operations.
Qualifications and Evaluations
Requirements:
EXPERIENCE: Minimum three (3) years of work experience which includes at least one (1) year in a leadership role and at least (1) year of training experience in either the Turkish Military, Turkish National Police, private security, and/or security at an American Diplomatic Mission is required.
JOB KNOWLEDGE: Must be a competent instructor and be able to convey information that the local guards can easily grasp.

LANGUAGE:
Level IV (fluent) speaking/reading/writing in
English is required. Level IV (fluent) speaking/reading/writing in Turkish is also required. This may be tested.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Ability to communicate quickly and clearly to guard trainees; ability to write short, concise reports; ability to communicate verbally in person to individuals or a group of individuals such as in a classroom setting; ability to work as a team member. Ability to use firearms safely and effectively; ability to communicate quickly and clearly in emergency situations; standard keyboard and data entry skills, Microsoft Office skills are required; must have a valid driver's license for standard vehicles. Must be available to work on evenings, weekends, early mornings, U.S. and Turkish holidays, as needed

The pay plan is assigned at the time of the conditional offer letter by the HR Office.
