The Goethe-Institut Istanbul is looking for a project coordinator.
The job comprises the following tasks:

The job comprises the following tasks:
- Assistance in the planning and implementation of the Turkish-European project “Spaces of Culture” in coordination with the project management
- Organization, implementation and follow-up of cultural events in coordination with the project management
- Conceptual assistance
- Planning and conducting of meetings with partners and organizations in the project environment
- Support in the public relations work of the project
- Assistance in translation
- Assistance in reporting
Applicants should have the following qualifications:
- Completed university degree or equivalent qualification
- Experience in project management, preferably in the cultural sector
- Very good knowledge of the current Turkish cultural scene and of the social discourse in both Europe and Turkey
- Professional experience in using PCs (MS Office applications)
- Very good skills in written and spoken German and English (C1/2)
- Good knowledge of Turkish preferred
- Organizational talent, reliability, flexibility
- Friendly and confident demeanour and ability to communicate
- Willingness to work in a team
- Willingness to take business trips within Turkey
- Intercultural competence
